Sunday Morning

The quarters Mom gave me for the laundry are better used to by morning drinks, I've found. Especially since brunch doesn't start for another hour, and I'm starving. I'm still not unpacked, but I figure I'll get to that a little later. I don't really feel like it yet.

I think the hardest part about being here so far is trying to sleep. I'm really unused to the lights that come in through our window, and the noise and stuff of another person. I'm going to have to get used to someone else's alarm, too, because I don't want to have to wake up this early (9:00 AM) when nothing actually starts until 11:30.

Last night, a couple of guys got locked out and they yelled up at my window. I have to remember to shut the window before I go to bed at night. Who goes out on their first day of college and parties, anyway? Seriously, folks.

The college here is nice, though. I think I'll like it, now that I'm not extremely tired and cranky. Tomorrow we're having a water balloon fight. Today is just ED 100 courses and some kind of "Mystery Buddy" thing. Kind of vague. I'll talk more about it tomorrow.
